It CAN BE in 2018!

Hello sweet human being of 2018,

The holidays are in the past; the hype, the excitement, the extended family dynamics.  The sweets have been consumed, gifts given and received.

It’s now a period of re-grouping, grounding and rolling back into a “normal” routine.  As humans, we naturally find comfort in routine.  It’s predictable and we know how to flow with it.

Though, before you totally settle in, is there anything about your routine that you’d like to change?
Leave behind a habit or a role that no longer serves you?
Would you like to integrate more sleep? Less?
Reach out to an old friend?  Take an international trip?
It can be big or small, it doesn’t matter, yet embracing the offerings of the Gregorian calendar- 4 seasons within 12 new months IS powerful and now is the perfect time to start anew.

Journaling is a great way to document your intentions, goals, resolutions, whatever you want to call it.  The written word holds power.  However, I find that the embodiment of this fresh start is even more effective towards success and manifestation.

Below are 3 ways to start out the New Year feeling good with freshness, focus, and fun in your heart, mind and your soul!

  1. Find a quiet place where you can sit or lie comfortably for about 10-15 minutes. Imagine a white canvas or a blank movie screen. Now, project onto that space your life you desire for 2018. Play with it.  No limits! Allow yourself to jump out of what may be your current reality.   What do you want to wear?  Who is there with you adding joy to your life?  What are you doing? Do you want to make more money?  Do you want to travel? Go first class? Is there more love? More intimacy? Adventure?  Whatever and anything, visualize it filling the screen in front of you.  Now, and this is the most important part, How does it feel?  Does it feel warm? Safe? Exciting? Calm? Invigorating?  And where do you feel those feelings?  In your legs? Heart? Head? Your hands?

Visceral feelings imprint more deeply than just thoughts, so do your best to really feel in your body the visual of your desired life for 2018.

  1. Integrate music.  Find a song that you can associate the embodiment of your visualization.  If your feelings are of excitement, find a song that makes you want to get up and dance around.  If your feelings were of a quiet peaceful calm, perhaps find a song with a smooth beat and no lyrics.  Whatever you choose, mindfully make the association between the song and your desired life.  Then listen to it as often as you’d like though-out the year.  This will re-engage those feelings of your visualized life of 2018 and remind you that your desires are real and meant to be granted.
  2. Find any place in your home or flat and clean the heck out of it.  I mean a deep clean.  (I chose my office.)  Rid it of all clutter, dust, mop or vacume, especially the corners. Move the furniture around to clean what’s behind it. Rearrange it. Get rid of decoration that doesn’t glow or has lost meaning. Give it a new feel and new energy. Play your new song while you do this, then step back and nod your head yesJ.

I wish for you whatever it is that you desire for yourself in this upcoming year!  Cheers to you!
I know you are there.  I know you have desires.
I am here for you.
Love, JILL
